Accounting and bookkeeping for South African businesses

We do monthly bookkeeping, annual financial statements and management accounts on cloud software. You can call or message the accountant who works on your books.

Would you rather talk it through first? Message us on WhatsApp or book a call with Jolandi.

Records kept up to date every month

We keep your books current every month. Bank feeds are reconciled, invoices are captured, and you can see what the business is making. When a SARS deadline comes round, the figures are already in place.

We work on cloud platforms such as Xero, so you can see your position from your phone and we work on the same live figures as you.

Catch-up work

If your books are behind, we rebuild messy or missing records from bank statements and source documents and bring your filings up to date.

Independent reviews support

Where your company needs an independent review, we prepare the file and work alongside the reviewer.

Cloud software setup

We set up Xero with a chart of accounts, bank feeds and invoicing that match how your business works.

See your numbers from your phone

We work on cloud platforms such as Xero. Bank feeds bring transactions in automatically, you can raise an invoice from your phone, and you can see where the business stands at any point in the year.

We work on the same live system as you, so we are both looking at the same up-to-date figures whenever you need them.

We prepare your annual financial statements and tax returns from the books we have kept during the year.

Common accounting questions

Do I need annual financial statements?

If you trade through a company, yes — the Companies Act requires annual financial statements, and SARS expects your ITR14 to be based on them. Sole proprietors need complete income and expense records for their ITR12 even though formal AFS aren't required.

Which bookkeeping software do you use?

We work mainly on Xero and other cloud platforms. If you use other software or spreadsheets, we either work with it or move you across with your history included.

My books are a mess. Can you fix them?

Yes. We rebuild the records from bank statements and source documents, file the backlog, and set up a monthly routine so the records stay current.

How much does it cost?

It depends on volume and complexity. We quote a fixed monthly fee before we start. Tell us about the business and we will send you a quote.
